Lee’s 4-Month Checkup

Today was Lee’s four-month checkup.  He weighed 13 lbs. 11 oz. and was 25 1/2″ long.  His weight dropped down to the 35th percentile and his length held steady in the 75th percentile.  He gets to start eating cereal, so I’m sure there will be some good pictures to follow.

New Tech Toy

Last week our new video camera arrived.  We ended up going with a Kodak Playsport.  This is a pocket-sized digital video camera that is waterproof, records video in full-HD 1080p, and is only $149!  With a 16 GB SD card we can record three hours at 1080p.  It also allows you to take 5 MP still images (not that great, but comes in handy if you don’t have your regular camera with you).   I’m currently conjuring up a way to mount this to my bow so I can capture some footage in the field this fall.

Dinklers Visit

Laci and the girls were in town this afternoon so they stopped by to visit.

Morgan was tuckered out so she enjoyed a nice nap!

Visiting Grandma Betty

This morning Terra, Amber, Lee, and I went to Minden to visit Grandma Betty.  She was really excited to see her great-grandson!

Lavingtons Visit

Saturday evening Tim & Sabrina Lavington stopped by.  We went bowling at the Big Apple and had a nice evening out.

Bonifas Bunch

Last weekend while we were at the farm, the Bonifas bunch came down to visit.  Here’s a picture of Beau, Lee, Kim, and Samantha.

Miller Time

The Millers came over for supper tonight (they both work with Amber at Good Sam). Lee & Kylee were born three days apart, and they seem to enjoy being around one another (click here for their first play date). Fortunately the rain held off and we were able to grill and enjoy some time outside.

Lee and Aunt Bonnie

My Aunt Bonnie stopped by this evening.  Lee was in a great mood so he was giving out all sorts of smiles.  It was great to see you Aunt Bonnie!

Lee Rolled Over

Lee rolled over this past week. His first true rollover was on Thursday the 15th, and he did again on Saturday as well. We haven’t gotten any pictures of him rolling over, but we did get this cute pic taken this weekend.

Lee Giggling

Lee & Great Grandma Wilson

This weekend we spent Saturday afternoon at Bonnie’s home and had a great time talking about family history. Rob’s cousin, Jim Wilson, came up from Kansas, as well as Rochelle Simms and Jayne & Gillian Hogeland. It was enjoyable to hear some of those old family stories.

Here’s a picture of Lee with his Great Grandma Wilson.

Lee Peeking out of Crib

Here’s Lee peeking out of the crib at Grandma & Grandpa Wilson’s this weekend.  Mom is holding him up, but it won’t be long and he’ll be doing this maneuver on his own I’m sure!

Lee’s Red Long Johns

Lee looked pretty cute in these old-fashioned long johns!

Food Plot

This weekend Dad & I had intentions of doing some turkey hunting, but as is usually the case when we wind up down at the property we end up doing more work than hunting. We’ve been wanting to put in a food plot for a couple years, so we’re glad to finally have it in.  We planted almost three acres of Whitetail Institute’s Imperial Clover, so we’re anxious to see how it fares.  Needless to say we’re glad that it’s raining today!

Happy Easter!!!

Happy Easter Everyone.  Hope everyone has a great day!
